Χειμερινή Μαγεία 2020

Εισαγωγή

Ο χειμώνας φτάνει στην Πόλη σου με μια πυκνή χιονοθύελλα που καλύπτει τα πάντα στο λευκό, σε ανύποπτο χρόνο. Ενώ οι κάτοικοι στην αρχή χαίρονται, καθώς βγαίνουν έξω και παίζουν με το χιόνι σαν μικρά παιδιά, η χιονοθύελλα δε σταματάει και η καθημερινότητα των κατοίκων γίνεται ανησυχητικά επικίνδυνη. Εν τέλει, η πόλη κηρύσσεται σε κατάσταση εκτάκτου ανάγκης από την Πολιτική Προστασία και το Νίκο Χαρδαυτιά, με αυστηρές συστάσεις για παραμονή εντός των οικιών και μετακινήσεις μόνο για πολύ επείγοντα λόγο.

Κάνοντας βολτίτσα με το 6, παρατηρείς μια κουκουβάγια που πετάει από σπίτι σε σπίτι, μεταφέροντας μια τσάντα με δώρα η οποία φέρει τη σφραγίδα του Ταχυδρομείου. Τρέχεις λοιπόν στο Ταχυδρομείο όπου συναντάς τη Janni, την ταχυδρομική υπάλληλο. Σου εξηγεί ότι έφτασαν πολλά δώρα που έπρεπε να διανεμηθούν πριν ξεσπάσει η Χιονοθύελλα, καθώς κι ότι τώρα πρέπει όχι μόνο να τα μοιράσει, αλλά και να βεβαιωθεί ότι το ηθικό των συμπολιτών της παραμένει ακμαιότατο σ' αυτούς τους χαλεπούς καιρούς. Χωρίς δεύτερη σκέψη, αποδέχεσαι να τη βοηθήσεις στον ευγενή σκοπό της που δεν είναι άλλος, από το να μοιράσει λίγη χαρά μέσα στο χειμώνα.

Αποστολές και Ορόσημα Αποστολών

Όπως και σε προηγούμενα events, θα παίξετε σε μια ειδική γραμμή Αποστολών η οποία θα σας καθοδηγήσει στη διάρκεια του Προσκυνήματος. Το πρώτο μέρος του event είναι μια κλασσική σειρά αποστολών εξιστόρησης, ενώ το δεύτερο μέρος είναι μια σειρά αποστολών σε επεισόδια με μια νέα αποστολή να ξεκλειδώνει για κάθε ημέρα του event που περνάει.

Η επίλυση των αποστολών του event, συνοδεύεται από επιπλέον οφέλη, καθώς κάθε ολοκληρωμένη αποστολή σας φέρνει πιο κοντά στο να φτάσετε τα Ορόσημα που δίνουν επιπλέον ανταμοιβές ξεκλειδώνοντάς τα.

Μενού του event

Each completed quest will give you Postal Keys as reward. They are automatically added to the Event Menu. With the Postal Keys you can open Postal Boxes to win precious and unique Event Buildings and other items. Opening the Postal Boxes will also grant you Winter Gifts to progress towards the Grand Prizes, but that's not all! In this year's Winter Magic Event, when opening a Postal Box, a Postal Star is added to the Special Powers counter, once you have gathered the required amount you can then use it activate Special Powers to further turn the odds in your favor!

By clicking the Event Menu icon you will access the Event Window which will give you plenty of information and allow you to put the Postal Keys you gathered to use:

1. The time remaining until the event ends.
2. The current Grand Prize you are working towards and a preview of the next ones to come.
3. Your Daily Exclusive Prize. Hover over the building for its description.
4. The amount of Postal Keys you have collected and not yet spent.
5. Allows you to buy Postal Keys with Premium currency.
6. Displays how many Winter Gifts have been delivered and shows current progress towards unlocking the Grand Prizes.
7. Olla, the delivery owl: As you hand Winter Gifts from Postal Boxes to Olla, she will follow the path to the current Grand Prize.
8. Postal Boxes which you can open with Postal Keys to win a reward and obtain Winter Gifts and Postal Stars.
9. Special Powers: "Reveal Two" and "Double Reward" - When the required number of Postal Boxes have been opened, you can use these to reveal two random rewards or double the reward in the next Postal Box opened. "Shuffle" can be activated using Postal Keys whenever you want to get a new set of Postal Boxes.

Postal Keys

You start the Winter Magic event with 100 Postal Keys and each Event Quest will give you more as a reward for completing the given tasks. Every day you play during the Event, you will receive a Daily Winter Magic login reward of 25 Postal Keys .

Also, from time to time, you will find more Postal Keys around your city outskirts for you to collect.

You can then use the Postal Keys to open Postal Boxes. Additional Postal Keys are unlocked upon reaching the third Quest Milestone.

Remember that the Winter Magic event only lasts for a few weeks, and after that you will no longer be able to use your Postal Keys to open Postal Boxes and earn awesome rewards, so don't waste time!

Postal Boxes

Each day in the Winter Magic event starts with a total of 16 locked Postal Boxes that are just waiting for you to open them, using Postal Keys. At the start of each day, you will be presented with a new selection of rewards hidden within the Postal Boxes. To give you an idea of what you can win, the rewards are visible at first but you must "Shuffle" them before you open the doors to claim them.

You can activate a manual "Shuffle" at any point in time, given you have the required 45 Postal Keys.

Use your Postal Keys to open a Postal Boxes. Each one will give you a Winter Gift plus one of many different rewards like the changing Daily Exclusives, Instants, Knowledge Points, Rune Shards, special Buildings or more Postal Keys.

Hint:If you have already found the prizes you were looking for, using the Shuffle button to get a new set of closed doors might be a good strategy.

Special Powers

Each time you open a Postal Box, 1 Postal Star is added to the Special Powers counter. Once you have gathered the required amount you can then use the respective Power to further increase your odds!

There are 3 Special Powers you can use:
	Reshuffle - At the cost of 45 Postal Keys it presents you with new rewards, closes all previously opened Postal Boxes and allows you to "shuffle" them again.
	2x - Doubles up the rewards in the next Postal Box that is opened after activation.
	Magnifier - Shows the contents of two, as yet unopened, Postal Boxes.

Please Note:You cannot continue to collect additional Postal Stars if a Special Power is ready to use. Only after a Power has been used will the counter start increasing again with each new door opened.

Winter Gifts

Each time you open a Postal Box, you will be rewarded with a Winter Gift. If you have used the "2x" Special Power previously, you will even receive two Winter Gifts.

Every Postal Box you open also contains a Winter Gift that Olla, the delivery owl, will deliver to your citizens. Once Olla delivered a total of 20 Winter Gifts, the next Grand Prize is unlocked for you.

Rewards

Evolving Building

A new Evolving Building is available in the Winter Magic Event: the Watchful Winter Owl! Your Winter Owl can be evolved through 10 stages to increase its power.

The Watchful Winter Owl provides Culture and Population and automatically produces Supplies. As an additional bonus, it also provides the production of various Goods, Mana and/or boosted Basic Sentient Goods (depending on the Chapter). As it evolves, you will receive higher amounts of these resources. When you feed your Winter Owl you will receive random Boosted Standard Goods per Neighborly Help while the feeding effect is active.

Grand Prizes & Daily Prizes

Each day, you will have a chance to win a Daily Exclusive Prize from Postal Boxes but, the real goal of this Event, is to win the fantastic Grand Prizes.

Grand Prizes include the Watchful Winter Owl Artifact, which allows you to evolve your Watchful Winter Owl to the next stage. See Evolving Buildings for more information on the evolution process.

But that's not all, as there are more awesome prizes, including Knowledge Points, Ancient Knowledge, Coin Rain Instants, Rune Shards and more.

After collecting the Daily Exclusive rewards and Grand Prizes, you will find them in your Inventory

Please note: All building values and effects depend on the chapter you are in at the time you add the buildings to your Inventory.

Expiring Building

In this year's Winter Magic event, when you reach the last milestone reward, you will receive a brand new Expiring Building: the Goddess of Wishes grants you a random reward every 12 hours.

Pet Food

Pet Food is a special Enchantment designed specifically to feed your Watchful Winter owl and other Pet Evolving Buildings. Applied directly to the building from your Enchantments tab, it activates a Pet Food Boost.

Look for the recipe in your Magic Academy's Crafting tab and craft it as your Pets become hungry again after their hard work to provide their boosts.
